I believe that small, consistent actions can help build a more compassionate and just world. That includes how I show up in this space. Here’s what you can expect from me as a writer, curator, and fellow human:

1. I Will Cite and Celebrate Original Creators

Whenever I share ideas, words, or work that is not my own, I will credit the original creators clearly and respectfully. I value the creative labor, lived experiences, and intellectual contributions of others—and believe attribution is the baseline of integrity.

2. I Will Point to Trusted, Credible Sources

When linking to articles, data, or action steps, I will do my best to reference trustworthy, well-vetted, and transparent sources. Misinformation has real consequences. I’ll be careful with what I share and will update information when it evolves.

3. I Will Acknowledge My Own Perspective

I write from my position as a white, educated woman living in the U.S. I understand that my experiences are shaped by privileges I didn’t earn, and I commit to acknowledging those lenses rather than pretending to be neutral or “above” them.

4. I Will Uplift Voices from the Margins

Whenever possible, I will center and amplify the wisdom and work of people and communities historically excluded from dominant narratives—especially Black, Indigenous, and people of color, LGBTQ+ communities, people with disabilities, and others too often overlooked.

5. I Will Cover Issues That Affect More Than Just Me

While this blog is a personal journey, I won’t only focus on issues that affect people like me. I’ll write about justice, equity, and care in ways that reach beyond my personal comfort zone—because we are all connected.

6. I Will Provide Useful, Actionable Resources

Each post is designed to not just raise awareness, but to offer a meaningful next step—something you can actually do. I will always aim to keep those actions realistic, helpful, and aligned with ethical impact.

7. I Will Keep Learning, Stay Open, and Get it Wrong Sometimes

I’m learning in public. If I make a mistake, I will listen, correct it, and keep going. Growth is part of the process, and I welcome constructive feedback.
